 Welcome to The Ram's Horn Connection website. If you have visited my shows you are already aware of how my art is created and you know the warm and wonderful feeling each piece brings and how it makes you smile. But for those of you who have not visited one of my shows, I have been designing my woolie creations for over 24 years and the art of wool wrapping was created by my immensely talented mother, Evelyn Roberts, over 34 years ago.

Most of my figures are designed by a wrapping of wool roving or batting over a wire and styrofoam armature. I do all my own dyeing of the wool and mix different dyes to create the colors I am looking for. Just recently, I have begun to add the art of needle felting to my wool wrapping art. By doing this, I now can create all kinds of animals but my focus and love seems to be with dogs. I started with a Shelty, which is my dog, Shaney, and was hooked! I now am designing over 30 breeds and constantly adding new breeds to the list. My customers send me pictures of their pets and I try to recreate their little buddies.

My work has been featured in several magazines over the years such as Country Living Magazine, Country Home, Domino Magazine, Country America, Early American Life, Wild Fiber Magazine and several newspapers. My work is shown at the American Folk Art Musuem Stores in New York City and is also in many musuems around the country. I was voted one of the top 50 holiday folk artists in the country by Early American Life in 2006. I am also honored by being selected as one of the artists at the Country Living Fair in Columbus, OH (sponsored by Country Living Magazine) this year.
